You mentioned "perfect possession" some time ago when I asked a previous question. As a follow-up, do you believe in sharing a darkness with others and being connected by it? I suppose that sounds vague, but I haven't the space to expand on these philosophical quandaries. I hope you'll understand.
Personally I don’t subscribe to the notion of value when talking about humans; the nature of a human is ambivalent. It is an infinity of stygian void and blinding light. So to answer your question, yes? People are all connected, so in turn I guess you could infer that they’re connected in darkness too. ;)

Somnium - Death of a Study
A study for a piece that will never happen. I thought I might as well share it. :)
I’m working on some flowcharts for “The Wellspring” and I decided to make portrait icons to help me out. It may not seem like much, but this was actually a lot of fun. I’ll eventually be making more for the rest of characters.
Big Things Have Small Beginnings
I’ve made a couple of minor changes on iiiil0liiii.com:
- I’ve added a section for the Somnium images (more explanation below).
- I’ve altered the color scheme/hover imagery on the main page and about page.
The ongoing Somnium imagery will be where I am primarily focused for the foreseeable future, with the hope/intent that I will return to working on fully realized ideas. I need to reach a state of catharsis with my work, and the footwork for that is producing without any expectation or judgment of the outcome (Yikes, right?).
In the past I have put myself under an inordinate amount of pressure to create “perfect” work that it essentially stopped me from producing anything. I’m trying to learn to enjoy the act of creating, and believing that whatever I create at its core is good enough. :) So that’s the goal… for now anyway.
Anyway, thanks for all of your support and enduring my “fountain of dead-ends”!
